Purba Bardhaman Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Association, also known as PBSSKA, is a Seishinkai Shito-Ryu District Karate Association of Purba Bardhaman District. It is affiliated to Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Association of Bengal which is member of All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Do Federation & PBSSKA is also affiliated with the authentic & official karate association of Purba Bardhaman District, Bardhaman Karate-Do Association which is affiliated to Karate-Do Association of Bengal.

Hanshi Premjit Sen is the Chief Technical Director of All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Do Federation & Grandmaster & Founder of Global Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Federation.

In 2009, Mr. Debasis Kumar Mondal was the Bardhaman District's first Instructor to take affiliation from All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation & since then Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate has been used to practice in Bardhaman. Later, so many other instructors took the affiliation from AISSKF & thus Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate spread in Bardhaman District.

In 2017, after the division of Bardhaman District into two districts - Purba Bardhaman & Paschim Bardhaman, under the guidance of Hanshi Premjit Sen & under the presidentship of Shihan Debasis Kumar Mondal, Purba Bardhaman Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate Association was founded by the Purba Bardhaman District Seishinkai Instructors on 4th July, 2017.

PBSSKA was mainly formed to provide best Karate and Martial Arts training to Purba Bardhaman students. The traditional & modern Shito-Ryu Karate is taught in all PBSSKA Branches by the expert instructors.

As Seishinkai Shito-Ryu is one of the largest & leading Karate Organisation in India & West Bengal, it is also the best karate association in Purba Bardhaman District.

PBSSKA has been organising Seishinkai Shito-Ryu District Karate Competitions every year since 2017. Under Hanshi's guidance, Shihan's leadership & Seneseis' efforts the karate athletes of PBSSKA are doing excellent results in both Kata & Kumite. PBSSKA is currently in Burdwan, Galsi, Kalna, Katwa & Mongalkote in our Purba Bardhaman district. At present PBSSKA has more than 30 Officials & Instructors. Players of PBSSKA have made Purba Bardhaman District proud as they have participated & won medals in District, State, Zonal & National Karate Championships & still participating & winning.

Most of the players of Purba Bardhaman District Official Karate Team are of Seishinkai Purba Bardhaman. It's a matter of pride.

Shito-Ryu was founded by Japanese Master Kenwa Mabuni in 1934. Seishinkai, one of the sub-style of Shito-Ryu was founded by Master Kokuba Kosei in 1943. Later, the style of Karate spreaded across the World by the ancestors & disciples (direct/indirect). Mr. Premjit Sen founded All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation in 2002 & Global Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation in 2017.   READ MORE
