The Path to Ascension
The Official Gamemode of Seishin no Te
Character Deck – each player selects a Living Character.
Spirit & Ghost Cards – linked to each Living Character.
Combat Deck – shared deck containing Attack, Block, Reflect, and Utility cards.
Ghost Deck - shared deck containing Ghost cards.
Fate Deck – shared deck containing Point and Loss cards.
Health Cards – used to track each player’s remaining health.
Designed as the full, balanced experience of Seishin no Te.
Incorporates all mechanics: Combat Tiers, Fate Deck interactions, and transformations into Ghosts/Spirits after death.
Combo chaining with Utility/Ghost cards and strategic stealing of Fate Cards.
Duels and risk-taking with the Fate Deck.
There are two victory paths:
Conquest Victory – Collect enough Fate Points from the Fate Deck to reach the required total (10 points).
Bloodpath Victory – Eliminate all other players so that only you remain

The Way of Strategy
The Strategic Gamemode of Seishin no Te
Character Deck – each player selects a Living Character.
Combat Deck – shared deck containing Attack, Block, Reflect, and Utility cards.
Fate Deck – shared deck containing Point and Loss cards.
Health Cards – track each player’s remaining health.
(Remove the Forbidden Path and Seppuku cards before play.)
A streamlined variant focused on pure tactical play.
Utility cards are still included, allowing combo strategies.
No transformations – once a Living Character is defeated, that player is out.
Faster pacing with direct tactical combat pressure and recovery options.
Two possible victory paths:
Conquest Victory – Gather enough Fate Points from the Fate Deck to reach the winning total (10 points).
Bloodpath Victory – Eliminate all other players until you remain as the last survivor.

The Way of Combat
The Combat Gamemode of Seishin no Te
Character Deck – each player selects a Living Character.
Combat Deck – shared deck containing Attack, Block, & Reflect cards.
Fate Deck – shared deck containing Point and Loss cards.
Health Cards – track each player’s remaining health.
(Remove all Utility Cards from the Combat Deck before play.)
A duel-focused variant designed for fast, direct combat.
Gameplay is streamlined to combat strategy and timing.
No transformations – once a Living Character is defeated, that player is out.
Ideal for players who want a quick, skill-based showdown.
Two possible victory paths:
Conquest Victory – Gather enough Fate Points from the Fate Deck to reach the winning total (10 points).
Bloodpath Victory – Eliminate all other players until you remain as the last survivor.

The Bonds of War
The Teamplay Gamemode of Seishin no Te
Character Deck – each player selects a Living Character.
Spirit & Ghost Cards – linked to each Living Character.
Combat Deck – shared deck containing Attack, Block, Reflect, and Utility cards.
Ghost Deck - shared deck containing Ghost cards.
Fate Deck – shared deck containing Point and Loss cards.
Health Cards – used to track each player’s remaining health.
A team-based variant of the Official Mode.
Players form teams of two, competing against other pairs.
Turn order rotates by team (play passes to the next team, not the next individual).
Full mechanics remain: Combat Tiers, Fate Deck, transformations, Utility/Ghost card combos, and stealing Fate Cards.
Encourages cooperation, timing, and coordinated strategy between partners.

Conquest Victory – Gather enough Fate Points from the Fate Deck to reach the winning total (20 points).
Bloodpath Victory – Eliminate all other players until your team remains as the last survivor.

The Way of Honor
The Damage-Multiplier Gamemode of Seishin no Te
Character Deck – each player selects a Living Character.
Combat Deck – shared deck containing Attack, Block, Reflect, and Utility cards.
Fate Deck – shared deck containing Point and Loss cards.
Health Cards – track each player’s remaining health.
(Remove the Forbidden Path and Seppuku cards before play.)
A quickplay variant designed for fast, intense battles.
Every Reflect card dealt increases the damage output by +1 until it is Blocked or received by a Player.
Encourages high-risk, high-reward duels where momentum swings quickly.
No Transformations, death results in elimination.

(Remove Seppuku cards before play.)
All players begin as Ghosts instead of Living Characters.
At the start of each turn, players may draw from the Ghost Deck (not to refill up to 6, but as a unique extra option).
The Combat Deck remains the primary deck for attacks, defense, and utility.
No transformations — once defeated, players are out.
Shifts the tone toward a spectral, ability-driven battle where Ghost powers influence combat flow.
