My research interest focuses on understanding the structure-property relationship of materials (cathode, anode, electrolyte, etc.) to design novel energy storage materials; atomic structure (crystal structure, stacking structure, coordination structure, volume expansion), electronic structure, charge storage mechanism, ion diffusion, doping effect, defects, interfaces.
