Professional Involvement

Georgia Library Media Association (GLMA): This organization is an affiliate of AASL for the state of Georgia. Cobb County Association of Library Media Specialists (CCALMS): This organization focuses on school media specialists and paraprofessionals in Cobb county schools. It fosters relationships between media professionals county wide by providing email newsletters and networking socials a few times a year. This is important in maintaining a network of other media specialists to share information and resources.
