Seda Erdoğan

Welcome to my website. 

I am the Lead Researcher at the CARF (Center for Applied Research in Finance) and an Adjunct Faculty member in Finance at Boğaziçi University. 

I received my Ph.D. in Finance from Boğaziçi University in 2018. I hold a Master’s degree in Logistics, Trade, and Finance from City University – Cass Business School (2004) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Boğaziçi University (2002). 

My research interests lie in corporate finance, with a particular focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, climate change, biodiversity, firm performance, information asymmetry, and dividend policy. My work aims to better understand how sustainability-related risks and institutional factors shape corporate behavior and financial outcomes.
