SecureVault (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SecureVault Android application.
SecureVault is developed and supported exclusively for Android devices.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Android version of the application.
SecureVault does not require account registration and does not collect personal information such as:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Login credentials
The app functions without identifying the user.
SecureVault uses third-party advertising services to support development.
Advertising providers (such as Google AdMob or similar) may automatically collect:
Device information (device model, OS version)
Advertising ID
Non-personal usage data for ad delivery and measurement
🔹 SecureVault does not access, store, or control advertising data.
🔹 All ad-related data handling is governed by the advertisers’ own privacy policies.
🔹 Users can limit or disable ad personalization via Android system settings.
SecureVault does not collect, transmit, or share passwords.
All generated or saved passwords remain on the user’s device.
No password data is sent to servers or cloud services.
Passwords are stored locally on the Android device.
Users may choose to export or save passwords to an external folder or file (e.g. TXT or JSON).
Exporting is performed only after explicit user action.
SecureVault does not automatically upload or back up data.
⚠️ Important:
Once passwords are saved in an external folder, their security becomes the user’s responsibility.
We strongly recommend protecting exported files using encryption, secure folders, or device security features.
SecureVault applies reasonable security practices:
Local storage protected by Android system security
No cloud synchronization
No remote servers
Offline functionality by default
Despite these measures, no application can guarantee absolute security.
SecureVault requests only essential Android permissions, such as:
Storage access (for saving or exporting files)
The app:
Does not access contacts
Does not use camera or microphone
Does not access location data
Does not read files without user interaction
SecureVault is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Users are responsible for:
Protecting their Android device from unauthorized access
Securing exported password files
Managing backups safely
SecureVault is not responsible for data loss caused by device compromise or improper storage.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically.
Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date.
Continued use of SecureVault indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
