Securing Palestine's Future for The Next 1,001 Years

In 2024 even countries with large populations find it hard to survive, or remain independent, and thrive on their own.

Small geographic countries, survive only under the patronage of other contrives. Whether by choice, coercion, manipulation or otherwise. They are thus forced into alliances or choices they may not want.

Alliances and choices against universal principles of fairness and equality.

For a country and a people located at a historic and current geographic crossroads, and brought into an artificially created conflict, it is virtually impossible.

The conflict, the war, the genocide, the occupation, the mayhem, the turmoil, the insecurity and more, must not be accepted as inevitable by fair minded global citizens.

And they do not!

You and I do not!

There are admirable efforts underway - many times not acknowledged.

There also exists a need for effort and commitment for a project, which for the Long-Term resolves to enable Palestine - or for that matter any other country - to be free and independent.

The biggest question is the scale of this commitment, clarity, breadth, momentum and sustainability.

This sustainable commitment must by its very purpose, dwarf all the challenges being faced by a free and independent country.

ANYTHING SHORT OF THAT WILL NOT DO.

So, what is that scale?

The reader will be familiar with the nature, and the ecosystem of the global system that is the status quo.

What is needed is:

1. £1 Trillion in the form of a Global Sovereign Wealth Fund.

2. Two parallel structures. One the consultancy aspect. The second the actual Global Sovereign Wealth Fund - whether in a single entity or most likely in multiple entities.

3. The firm resolve and commitment of 300 Million people to the project.

This may seem a tall order.

It may also seem un-necessary. The estimates of re-building Gaza vary from 18 to 40 billion. A need which international politicians say the rich Arab countries can/should provide.

Those who have no vested stake or interest in welfare, cannot bring about lasting peace.

Financial support must be provided by those – who wish to have a stake.

ASK YOURSELF DO YOU WANT TO HAVE A STAKE?

Importantly, this project is about a sustainable and comprehensive peace. It is also about deterrence.

Deterrence, not in a physical sense - but a clear indication of the resolve of the supporters of peace.

To give an idea, the Financial Crisis facing Europe post 2008 required One Trillion Euros to be made available to save Europe. Europe raised that money in six months.

The United States also needed $1 Trillion. The US - being one country – raised it far quicker.

What we are talking about is not just saving a country, but a region and perhaps the entire world from war and conflict; which may well last the next thirty to seventy years.

The loss of life and property will be immense.

We may sleep easy in the West. That we are protected (to varying degree - depending on where we are physically in the 'west'; that is EU, North America, or Australia).

Our governments have already calculated - and written off - what percentage of westerners are likely to be affected (death/deterioration of life). And decided, it is an acceptable and calculated risk. As a nation we can afford to lose a city or two, to bombs. Individuals may die, but the nation lives. Hence, why the most senior British Army commander says, that the UK must be ready for war in the next two year.

As a British citizen it may be reassuring to know, that he is thinking of protecting 'us'. But it is not acceptable, to not look for peace and security - outside of conflict. And certainly effort must be made to avert war and conflict.

Tens of millions, if not hundreds will face the brutal consequences. Tens of millions have endured the same for the past three decades.

The migration problems that we in Europe and the US complain about, are a direct delayed consequence.

It is our responsibility on a humanity level, to avert the genocide of a people, and also the threat of war to countless others.

And this brings me back to the point - to avert war requires a drastic, momentous effort!

The '3 Points' and the '2 structures' are very practical and very feasible in a short period - at a time when brands, products and messages are bought and consumed, by a billion people in a short period of time.

Raising £1 Trillion is not an impossibility.

The math is simple:

400,000 Residential Units in Gaza.

Each of us Buys a ‘Visit Palestine in the Future’ Certificate.

That means in the future each of us will be entitled ‘TO STAY WITH A FAMILY IN GAZA IN THEIR NEW HOME – THAT YOU HELPED REBUILD’, for 1 night. You can buy more nights.

That means at minimum 400,000 people WILL VISIT GAZA EVERY WEEK IN THE FUTURE. They cannot kill us all.

The price is £10 per night.

There are 400,000 residential units in Gaza that need to be rebuilt.

That is £4,000,000 per night.

There are 365 days in the year.

That's £1,460,000,000 per year.

This project is for the next 1,001 years!

That is £1,461,460,000,000.

That is £1.4 Trillion.

As I mentioned, it is NOT ABOUT THE MONEY.

IT IS ABOUT THE RESOLVE.

IT IS ABOUT THE COMMITMENT.

IT IS ABOUT DOING IT !
