Secure Locker is an offline Android credential organizer provided by The Coding Feast. This policy describes version 5.0. Last updated: October 4, 2026.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The app stores the information you enter: email usernames and passwords; website addresses, usernames, and passwords; named text keys; and your local app username, password, recovery question, and recovery answer. It uses these details to display, search, edit, delete, recover access to, and back up your local records. Search operates on usernames, website addresses, and key titles, not secret values.
Your app login exists only on your device. It is not an online account with us.
COLLECTION, SHARING, AND NETWORK ACCESS
Secure Locker does not send your vault contents or usage information to the developer. This version has no internet permission, developer-operated backend, advertising, analytics, tracking, or remote crash-reporting SDK. We do not sell your vault information.
The app does not automatically sync your records to a server. Android automatic cloud backup and device-transfer backup are excluded by the app configuration.
BACKUPS YOU CHOOSE TO EXPORT
Exporting creates a password-protected .slbackup file containing your saved credentials from all three categories. Your local app login and recovery answer are excluded. Backup files use AES-256-GCM encryption with a key derived from the backup password.
The Android system file picker gives the app access to the file location you select. The picker requests local-only providers. Locations available on a device depend on its document providers, and copies you later move or share are controlled by you and those providers, not by us.
Keep the backup password separately. We cannot recover it. Copy the backup off the device before a factory reset. Restoring into an existing vault replaces all credential categories after confirmation and retains that installation’s local login.
HOW INFORMATION IS PROTECTED
App data is stored in Android’s app-private storage. Exported backup files are encrypted, but the live credential database, local app password, and recovery answer do not have additional app-level encryption. The local login is an app access check, not an encryption key for the live database.
Use a trusted device with an operating-system screen lock and keep your device and backup locations protected. Secrets you explicitly reveal can be visible to people looking at the screen. No claim of an independent security certification is made.
RETENTION AND DELETION
Records remain on the device until you delete them, replace them during restore, clear the app’s storage, uninstall the app, or reset the device. Individual records can be removed from their options menu.
To remove all local credentials and the local login, use Android Settings > Apps > Secure Locker > Storage > Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Android menu names can vary. This is irreversible without a usable backup. We hold no server-side vault copy to recover or erase.
Exported backup files are outside the app’s private storage and are not removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling. Delete them, including copies on other devices or locations, separately using your file manager.
SUPPORT MESSAGES
If you email thecodingfeast@gmail.com, the developer and email providers involved receive the message, your email address, and any information you choose to include. This communication happens outside the app. We use it to respond to your request; keep it only as needed for support and applicable obligations. You may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us.
Do not send passwords, recovery answers, vault databases, or backup files to support. Describe the issue using synthetic examples.
CHILDREN
Secure Locker is a general-purpose credential utility and is not designed specifically for children. The app does not transmit user information to us. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information through support correspondence.
CHANGES AND CONTACT
We may update this policy when app functionality or data handling changes. The current policy is available inside the app and at the privacy-policy URL listed on Google Play. Contact The Coding Feast at thecodingfeast@gmail.com with privacy questions.
