Safe Notes Vault is designed to protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app handles, where it is stored, and how it is used.
Safe Notes Vault is built with a privacy-first approach.
Your notes and content are stored locally on your device.
Note content is encrypted before storage.
We do not collect or sell your personal data.
We do not run advertising trackers.
We do not require account registration with the developer.
Safe Notes Vault includes an optional iCloud Sync feature.
If enabled, encrypted note data may sync through your personal Apple iCloud account using CloudKit.
Synced data is stored in your private iCloud space associated with your Apple ID.
The developer does not have direct access to your private iCloud data.
You can disable iCloud Sync at any time in the app settings.
Safe Notes Vault uses encryption and secure iOS storage mechanisms.
Notes are encrypted in-app.
Sensitive credentials/keys are stored using iOS secure storage (e.g., Keychain).
Biometric unlock (Face ID/Touch ID) is optional and controlled by you.
Safe Notes Vault may provide user-controlled backup/export/import options.
Exported files are created only when you request them.
File location and sharing destination are chosen by you.
The developer does not receive exported backup files.
Safe Notes Vault may request permissions only for user-requested features:
Face ID / Touch ID: to unlock app content securely.
Photo Library / Photos Add: to insert images into notes or save exported content.
Camera: to capture images for note content.
Notifications (optional): to alert you when persistent sync failures occur.
Network / iCloud access: required for optional iCloud Sync.
You can manage permissions any time in iOS Settings.
Safe Notes Vault relies on Apple platform services to deliver functionality:
Apple iCloud / CloudKit (for optional sync)
Apple Keychain / iCloud Keychain (for secure key storage and optional key synchronization)
No third-party ad SDKs or analytics SDKs are used by default.
6A. AI Features and On-Device Processing
Safe Notes Vault includes optional AI-powered features (Smart Search, AI Summary & Suggestions, AI Auto-Title, AI Auto-Select Category).
All AI processing is performed entirely on your device using Apple's Natural Language framework and on-device machine-learning models provided by iOS.
Your note content, search queries, and metadata processed by AI features are never sent to any external server, cloud AI service, or third-party API.
No AI-related data leaves your device as a result of using these features.
Apple's on-device Natural Language models do not share your content with Apple beyond normal iOS system operation (see Apple's Privacy Policy for details on on-device ML).
AI features are optional and individually toggleable. Disabling them stops all AI processing entirely.
Because all AI inference happens locally, Safe Notes Vault's privacy-first commitment extends fully to its AI features.
Your local app data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
If iCloud Sync is enabled, data in your private iCloud account can persist according to Apple’s services and your account settings.
You can delete notes or disable sync from inside the app.
Safe Notes Vault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the Effective Date and publishing the latest version.
