Direct Substitution only after the Run Order Deadline.
The run order for the State Race will be determined by order of Section Finish times as directed by the State Race personnel.
3. Volunteer Names Deadline: January 31, 2025, 11:00 AM
Buck Hill requires everyone who is on the hill to have a pass. We have to check to make sure they have signed the Race Day Waiver. This is why we need names of who is on the hill ahead of time. Thank you for your understanding.

All Coaches, Racers & Volunteers must have a waiver signed before picking up team packets
If you have a Buck Hill Season Pass or have already signed the Race Waiver for a Buck Hill High School race this year, there is no need to sign again.
Who has signed the waiver - PLEASE check the spreadsheet to make sure your volunteers are listed.

Please have your volunteers read the "Volunteer Workers" page on this website
Worker Assignments are to be for Adults only.
High School Students and younger should not be in the Worker Assigned area.
Information for your Racers & Families
Follow the race at Live-timing.
If family members would like to ski, purchase lift tickets online at Buck Hill Lift Tickets.
Watch live at Live Webcam.
Forerunner (4 each gender)
Forerunners are expected to help with course upkeep during the race by slipping between seeds
After forerunning - meet with Marty Peterson in the Finish Area for on-hill race assignments.

8:00 am: Lifts open for Course Setters and Course Workers
8:15 - 8:45 am: Registration
Coaches packet will include:
Racer tickets,
Coach tickets,
and Volunteer tickets.
Tickets are for those who have signed the waiver.
8:30 am: Buck Hill ticket office opens for General Public.
Please have all family members who want to ski, purchase lift tickets online before race day (much cheaper).
8:45 am: Lifts open for Racers
After 1st Run: Coaches Only: First-run times will be posted along with any DQs in the Hutch, per MSHSL policy.
After 2nd Run: Coaches Only: Results will be tabulated and posted along with DQs for a 15-minute viewing in the Hutch.
Please limit to Coaches Only during this time (parents can wait or the coach can take a picture and send it out to parents)
If you look at the mandatory timeline, there are 15 minutes of viewing of DQs and Results before awards can be handed out
Computations can take up to 2 hours to get results correct.
Please be patient.

2025 Tent Locations
Training Courses are not allowed in 2025, per Buck Hill.
Racers only in the Start Area.
Those unable to attend the race can watch the Buck Hill Webcam and see the race as it happens.
The Dak board has NOT been fixed and WILL NOT BE ON for the Section Races.
No charcoal grills or fire pits on the snow.
If snow is melting from the exhaust or because a heater, generator, or other item is melting a hole in the snow, please turn it off.
Garbage
Bring garbage bags!
Take trash to the dumpster don't leave it by the trash can. The dumpster is located at the South end of the parking lot.
Per Buck Hill, monitors in the Chalet cannot be changed to the Milk Run webcam.
BUS - No busses in the Buck Hill parking lot. Drop-off, pick-up ONLY.
A Jury Meeting will be between the Skier, Head Coach, and Jury Members (Race Organizer, TD, and Referee).
Video evidence is not accepted or discussed with the Jury.
