This Privacy Policy explains how **Secrets Inside the Ellipse** ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.

The App is a visual geometry and physics sandbox game. It is designed to work locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts, analytics servers, advertising systems, or cloud sync for the App.

## Information we do not collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information through our own servers.

The App does not include:

- User accounts or login

- Advertising SDKs

- Analytics SDKs

- In-app purchase or billing SDKs

- Location tracking

- Contact access

- Camera access

- Cloud storage or cloud sync

## Information stored locally on your device

The App may store limited app data locally on your device so the experience works properly. This can include:

- App settings and language preferences

- Tutorial and health warning acknowledgement

- Sandbox/gameplay preferences

- Local progress or feature state

- References to recordings or visual creations saved on your device

This information stays on your device and is not sent to us.

You can remove this local data by clearing the App's storage in Android system settings or uninstalling the App.

## Screen recording and saved videos

The App includes an optional recording feature so you can save and share visual compositions created in the sandbox.

Recording only starts when you choose to use the recording feature and grant the Android screen capture permission. The App uses Android's MediaProjection system to record the visible App experience and saves the resulting video file on your device, typically in the device's Movies folder under a folder named **SecretsInsideEllipse**.

On supported Android versions, the App may request the `RECORD_AUDIO` permission to include the App's own playback audio in recorded videos. The App is designed to capture App/game audio for the recording feature. It does not use this permission to record voice conversations, and it does not start audio or screen recording in the background without your action.

Recorded videos are controlled by you. They remain on your device unless you choose to share, move, upload, or delete them using Android or another app.

## Permissions used by the App

The App may request or use the following Android permissions or system capabilities:

- **Screen capture / MediaProjection:** used only after your confirmation to record the App screen.

- **Foreground service for media projection:** used to keep screen recording active while recording is in progress.

- **Record audio:** used, where supported, to include App playback audio in your recording.

- **MediaStore / device media storage:** used to save videos that you create with the recording feature.

The App does not request internet access in its current version, so it does not send App data to our servers.

## Data sharing

We do not share personal data with third parties.

If you choose to share an exported video using Android's share features or another app, that sharing is controlled by you and by the privacy practices of the app or service you choose.

## Data retention and deletion

Local App settings and progress remain on your device until you clear the App's storage or uninstall the App.

Videos you record remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete recorded videos using your device's gallery, file manager, or media storage tools.

Because the App does not create user accounts or upload your data to our servers, we do not have server-side user data to delete.

## Children

The App is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not operate accounts, advertising, analytics, or user profiling in the App.

Parents or guardians can delete local App data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App from the device.

## Security

The App is designed to keep its data local to your device. We use Android platform features for local storage, permissions, screen capture consent, and media saving.

No method of storage or device use is perfectly secure, so you should avoid recording or sharing videos that contain sensitive information.

## Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App changes, when new features are added, or when legal or platform requirements change.

When we update the policy, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
