Information Collection
This app does not create an account for you and we do not store your recordings on our servers. Your recordings and app preferences stay on your device.
Permissions
The app may request microphone (when you enable audio in recordings), foreground service, and overlay permissions. On Android, videos are saved in a Screen Recorder folder under Movies and extracted screenshots are saved under Pictures (via the system media store), visible in your gallery and file apps. These permissions are used to record your screen, save videos/screenshots, and show floating recording controls while recording.
Local Processing
Recording, pause/resume session handling, merge, crop, compatibility conversion, and screenshot frame extraction from your recordings are performed locally on your device. Temporary files may be created during processing and are cleaned up by the app where possible.
Advertising and Third-Party Services
The app uses Google Mobile Ads to display ads. Google and its partners may process device and advertising identifiers (including Android Advertising ID on supported devices) according to their own policies. The app also uses Firebase services (such as Analytics and Crashlytics) to measure app usage and monitor stability/performance. Please review Google Privacy Policy and Google Ads Policy for details.
Data Sharing
We do not directly sell your personal data. Recorded files and screenshots are not uploaded by us. Data used by ad/analytics/crash-reporting providers is handled by those providers under their own privacy terms.
External Player
If you open a recording with an external video player (manually or through the "Always use external player on Android 10 / MTK" setting), playback is handled by that external app. Its privacy practices are governed by that app's own policy.
Your Controls
You can use floating controls to pause/resume, stop, return to the app, and capture screenshots during recording. You can delete recordings/screenshots at any time from your device and revoke permissions from your device settings. If you deny required permissions, some recording features may not work.
Children's Privacy
This app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
