Workshop Code: grf11
About the workshop:
The rapid evolution of connected vehicles and smart transportation networks, along with advances in autonomous vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and digital twin technologies, is reshaping the mobility landscape. These innovations promise unprecedented improvements in transportation safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency. At the same time, they introduce complex challenges in ensuring privacy, cybersecurity, and resilience against cyber-physical threats.
This workshop focuses on three emerging pillars of next-generation transportation security: digital twin technology, UAV integration, and the broader smart mobility ecosystem. Participants will explore how digital twins can be leveraged to model, monitor, and predict vehicle behavior and system vulnerabilities, enabling proactive and adaptive security strategies. The workshop also addresses the incorporation of UAVs into intelligent transportation systems, highlighting privacy considerations, secure communication mechanisms, and real-time threat detection and mitigation techniques.
By bringing together expertise from academia, industry, and government, the workshop aims to facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and foster innovation in secure mobility solutions. Topics will include secure V2V and V2X communication, blockchain-enabled vehicle security, AI-driven threat analysis, and regulatory challenges for intelligent transportation infrastructures. Attendees will gain insights into the future of mobility, where advanced technologies and robust security frameworks converge to create safer, smarter transportation systems.
