“Second Star on the Right and Straight on ‘til Morning” is a famous quote from the novel “Peter Pan”, written by the Scottish dramatist J.M- Barrie.
That’s the reason why we’ve chosen this city to come study and do our research project.
This project aims to encourage students to consider literature as a “bridge” which connects people and all the different cultures, to discover all the differences/similarities that are very precious for the entire society.
It’s also an occasion to improve our English language skills, competences and notions. By studying abroad, exploring new places that could inspire us, and expand our knowledge, we will have the opportunity to become citizens of Europe and the world.
We did this work together, in groups of 7, researching information on the different authors, dividing them into “Literary Alumni” and “Interdisciplinary Alumni”. In the second phase of our research we will explore places around Cambridge and the university that are associated with all the authors and scientists.
