About Us and Why

Second Chance Whiskers is a 501©3 non-profit cat rescue in Polk County, Florida.

Our Mission is to keep cats out of shelters, off the streets, and away from dangerous living conditions

Amarilla and Maggie both have a strong love for cats.

They decided that something needed to change with the stray cat population.

They decided to start SCW to help cats find loving homes and keep them off the streets.
