To promote a fully funded ABSS (Alamance-Burlington School System). Dreama seeks to advocate that every school have the resources necessary to accommodate the needs of the students. Dreama advocates for equality among the schools so that our students are able to receive the same educational opportunities as students of the sister schools.
Secure and safe housing along with reasonable living wage are imperative to the well-being of the residents of Alamance County. One of the driving forces of Dreama’s determination is to make certain or fortify that county employers are providing employees with living wages. Dreama would work with these employers in addition to landlords and the housing authorities to warrant safe, healthy and affordable housing.
To promote the relocation of the monument in Graham, NC. Dreama would advocate respectfully for the relocation of the monument to a place of the confederate community's choice.
To promote the success of the community, there needs to be equal access to the same services to the residents of Alamance county. Dreama would advocate for the accessibility of services and infrastructure to residents with varying levels of physical and mental abilities as well as alternative language needs.
Natural resources need to be protected to secure the longevity of our county. Dreama would be working to protect our natural resources and reducing the impact of climate change that local establishments may be contributing to unbeknownst to them. In addition, Dreama opposes the Snow Camp Mine (also referred to as Holman’s Mill Mine) as well as the MVP Southgate pipeline.
Racial bias and discrimination are key risk factors in the acceleration of Alamance County. Dreama believes that racial equality and equity is a part of every policy within Alamance county.
