Mathematics is a great subject to incororate the Universal Design For Learning guidelines, or UDLs. There are 3 subsections of UDL guidelines. These are engagement, representation, and action and expression. The UDL guidelines are a tool for educators to diversify their instruction. Implementing the UDL guidelines ensures that all students have an equitable opportunity to access, participate, and expand their education.
