Secondary Assistant Principal
Hello! I am a Texas transplant, as I was raised in West Virginia. I came to Texas in my early twenties for a visit and never left. I married, had two children, and completed my education here. I received my Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies at UT Tyler, and my Masters in Educational Leadership, with principal certification, from SFA. After teaching sixth-grade English at Arp Junior High for eight years, I set a goal to get administration experience and return. I left Arp to serve one year as a fifth-grade English and Social Studies teacher at Clarkston Elementary in Tyler ISD and two years as Assistant Principal in Laneville ISD and got the opportunity to return. Serving as Secondary Assistant Principal is a pleasure! I continue to train and follow research to support teachers in giving children the best education possible.
I split my day between Arp High School and Arp Junior High, so email is the best way to contact me. You may also leave a message with either office and I will call you back as soon as possible.
