For the IEEE International Conference on AI and Security for Industrial IoT Systems (AISIIS2026) the organising team has decided the theme as
"AI-Driven Resilience: Securing the Future of Autonomous Industrial Systems"
Industry 4.0 is gaining momentum, with more factories and industrial environments embracing automation, AI, and connected systems. As this trend grows, so does the cybersecurity risk, making this an important area. The rise of autonomous systems across sectors (manufacturing, logistics, energy, etc.) necessitates not just functional AI but also secure, resilient AI that can proactively protect systems from cyber threats.
There is a strong need for AI solutions that go beyond detection, focusing on autonomous responses and self-healing capabilities in industrial systems that would traditionally rely on human intervention.
This theme focuses on the growing need to integrate AI with cybersecurity and autonomy in Industrial IoT systems. As industries become increasingly automated and reliant on autonomous systems—such as self-optimizing supply chains, intelligent manufacturing, and autonomous vehicles—ensuring their resilience against cyber threats is a critical challenge. The theme emphasizes how AI can be leveraged to enhance the resilience and self-healing capabilities of industrial systems in the face of evolving and increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks.
