BeomSeok Kim is an assistant professor at Chosun University. He received his B.Eng., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. Prior to joining Chosun University in September 2025, he served as an academic research professor at the Graduate School of Convergence Security, Kyung Hee University, where he led national research projects and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in operating systems, object-oriented programming, and embedded system security. His research interests include embedded system security, lightweight control-flow protection for IoT devices, secure UAV architecture, and satellite communication security.
