Fundraising is a very important aspect of the Seneca Eagles Band Parents Association as the participation fee paid to the school covers very little of the Marching Band's activity. Props, competition fees, and additional staff are just some of the things that are covered by SEBPA.
In recognition of the time and effort that fundraisers require and the fact that all of us are busy with families and careers, the following guidelines have been established to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
All fundraisers must be approved by the Executive Board. According to school rules, all fundraisers must also be approved by Seneca High School. Sales of items in school can only occur during designated time-frames. This policy is established so all clubs/teams can raise funds without competing.
All monies collected for fundraisers must be submitted to the treasurer by the Coordinator of that particular fundraiser with a "Money Submission" sheet that explicitly details the amounts to go toward the General Fund and amounts to go the Student Account.
While fall is Marching Band competition season, fundraising will occur all year as expenses to occur all year. For example, invoices for the fall season are sent out the prior spring.
