I am recruiting one student for a PhD position in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City, SD, USA. It is expected that the selected candidate will start in Spring'26/Fall'26. 

Potential research topics include:

• Modeling, analysis, and control  of epidemic processes;

• Mathematical modeling of (mis)information spread over social networks

Qualifications:

• a Bachelor's and/or a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or a closely-related discipline; 

• strong background in Systems and Control; 

• excellent English language skills;
