Sébastien Carrère
Ph.D. in Economics
Welcome to my personal webpage. I'm a Post-doctoral researcher in economics at the Grenoble Applied Economics Laboratory (GAEL). My current post-doctoral research focuses on environmental economics, residential mobility choices and socio-spatial inequalities in France.
I completed my bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Tours in France, and my master's degree in Development Economics at the University of Bordeaux. I defended my PhD thesis "The Vulnerable Classes in Latin America: Instability, Redistributive expectations, and securization" in December 2024 at the Bordeaux School of Economics.
My dissertation in development economics focuses on economic vulnerability, social stratification, territorial inequalities and redistribution issues in Latin America, and more specifically in Argentina. I also teached Macroeconomics and Statistics for undergraduated students.
