Tintin en Radiographie
A graphic 'archaeology' or 'radiography' of twelve consecutive albums of The Adventures of Tintin by Hergé. I made two black and white plates per album, as graphic 'relevés' of various verbo-visual elements in each album, condensing and interpreting each book and thus re-articulating the first half of Tintin's adventures as an utterly singular imagetext series. The intent was to playfully 'reveal' repetitive motifs and enunciations in these most 'autobiographical' hergean adventures. To enhance the graphic condensations, I propose one montage poem per album, based on peculiar words and sentences.
Tintin en Radiographie is meant and presented as a document.
