Sebastian Cortes-corrales
I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Economics at the University of Birmingham .
My primary research interest is focused on understanding how underlying network structures influence behaviour using game theory, incentivised experiments and empirical tools. I am working on topics involving Networks of Conflict, Industrial Organisation and Political Economy.

Prior to my current position, I was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Smith Institute for Political Economy and Philosophy at Chapman University. I also was a Senior Teaching Associate at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge.
Before starting my graduate studies, I was an Associate Researcher in Health Economics at the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, Colombia. There, I was involved in numerous research projects in public health. The work I produced there can be found on my Google Scholar Page.
