Sebastian Chenery

Topologist

University of Bristol

About Me

I am currently a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, having recently moved from the University of Southampton. My research is in algebraic topology, with a particular focus on the homotopy theory of manifolds. At present I am mostly concerned with problems involving connected sums.

Outside of mathematics, I have interests in many areas. I am an archer, a keen musician and an avid reader. My other hobbies include (amongst many other things) getting frustrated about English rugby, and misuse of Oxford commas.

My CV is available on request – please email seb.chenery@bristol.ac.uk.
