Topologist
University of Bristol
I am a Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, having moved from my previous position at the University of Southampton in September 2024. My research is in algebraic topology, with a particular focus on the homotopy theory of manifolds. I also jointly organise the departmental Geometry & Topology Seminar, together with Luke Luke Jeffreys and Tudur Lewis.
On this page you will find links to my published research, as well as a selected list of my academic talks. My full CV is available upon request – please email seb.chenery@bristol.ac.uk.
Outside of mathematics I have many interests: I am an archer, a keen musician, an avid reader, and a habitual misuser of Oxford commas.
