Michelle began teaching English country dance (ECD) in 2010, when Dumbarton House (Washington DC) asked if she'd teach a year-round class.  She founded ECD in DC, an English country dance performance group, which appeared at The Folger Theatre and Dumbarton House in Washington DC, at Mount Vernon and Woodlawn in Alexandria, Virginia, and at other private and public events in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC between 2011 and 2019.  In 2022, Michelle moved away from Washington DC and ECD in DC became Sebastian English Country Dance.  Michelle continues to teach ECD, call at ECD events, and perform with the Dover English Country Dancers in addition to her own group's performances.  

A life-long dancer, Michelle maintains that "you're only doing it 'wrong' if you're not having fun".  Her motto: Come Dancing!
