Now-January 31, Nominate a Teacher!
It’s time to nominate teachers for the 2025 Public School Foundation Teaching Chair awards. Below is the list of relevant awards & eligible teachers for Seawell. The opportunity to nominate a teacher ends January 31st!
Upper Elementary Chair for Excellence in Teaching Innovation: NOMINATE HERE Eligible teachers are Naomi Clark (5th), Christina Davidson (5th), Yolanda Grant (4th), Stephanie Jeffries (4th), Virginia Jones (5th), Angela Marques (3rd), Julie Spieler (5th).
Mary U. Andrews Chair for Excellence in Teaching Literacy: NOMINATE HERE Eligible teachers are Laura Nolan (librarian), Tesha Bullock (3-5 instructional coach), Eve Effries (K-2 instructional coach).
Zora Rashkis Chair for Promising New Elementary School Teacher NOMINATE HERE Eligible teacher is Katie Jordan (pre-k teacher).
January 23, 7pm, Variety Show @ Seawell Gymnasium
The annual Seawell Variety Show is back, and we're thrilled to see student talents shine! The show will run as a school-wide assembly performance in the afternoon. Families are welcome to attend the evening performance at 7pm in the school gymnasium.
January 31, 6pm, BINGO night @ Seawell Cafeteria
Bingo Night Is Back! Prizes for winners and plenty of fun for all ages! No cost to attend. You can pre-order pizza here for your family or split one with friends. Note: Pizza orders will close at noon on Thursday, January 30th. Water and snacks will also be available for a suggested donation. Feel free to bring your own beverages or reusable water bottles. There will also be a short - but important! - PTA meeting at the beginning of the night. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Elizabeth.Zander@gmail.com.
