Smart911 System - Smart911 is a national third-party system that stores data you provide and makes it available to emergency call centers, including Seattle's, that are equipped and ready to receive Smart911 data.

Community Service Officers - Non-commissioned outreach specialists who help individuals access essential resources like housing, healthcare and treatment. They collaborate with local agencies, including social service providers, to resolve non-emergency matters.

SPD Crime Prevention Coordinators - Coordinators are assigned by precinct. Crime Prevention Coordinators (CPCs) are experts in crime prevention techniques. You can contact your CPC to inquire about general crime prevention tips, get involved or start a Block Watch group, request their presence at an upcoming community meeting and to discuss ongoing crime concerns in your neighborhood.

CARE Department: The Community Assisted Response & Engagement (CARE) team is the 3rd branch of public safety in Seattle and operates the 9-1-1 Communications Center and the Community Crisis Responder (CCR) Team. The CARE Department reports to the mayor's office.

Community Police Commission - The Community Police Commission (CPC) provides mandated ongoing, community-based oversight of SPD and the police accountability system.

Block Watch - Block Watch is a program based on the principle that neighbors working together are the first and best line of defense against crime.

Seattle Fire Department - Call 911 to report any medical or fire emergency. The mission of the Seattle Fire Department is to save lives and protect property through emergency medical service, fire and rescue response and fire prevention.

Seattle Neighborhood Group - Educates, organizes, and collaborates with residents, businesses, government entities and other organizations to create safe communities through equitable engagement, with a focus on underserved populations.

Seattle Center - Central to Seattle's culture & arts; annual food and arts festivals like Folk Life and Bumbershoot; home of Seattle Opera.

Safe Routes to School biking & walking maps - School walk and bike maps show walking and biking conditions to help your family figure out the best route to safely walk and bike to school.

King County Council - The legislative branch of county government. The Council sets policies, enacts laws, and adopts budgets that guide an array of services for county residents. There are 9 county council districts, 3 of which cover areas of the North Precinct. Find your district Council member, follow Council meetings, sign up for updates.

King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office: The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office represents the state and county in both criminal and civil legal matters, and is responsible for prosecuting all felonies in King County and all misdemeanors in unincorporated areas of King County.

King County Metro - Providing public transportation and mobility throughout King County. Includes buses, on-demand, paratransit, vanpool and water taxi services, and operates the Seattle Streetcar, Sound Transit Link light rail and Sound Transit Express bus service.

SoundTransit - Providing light rail and Sounder Train service through Snohomish, King and Pierce counties.

King County Library System - Seattle residents can have both a KCLS and a Seattle Public Library card. Free services include access to books, audiobooks, e-books, computers & printing, free museum passes, Makerspaces, and The Welcoming Center.
