Ms. Cindi

My name is Cindi Bailey and I will be your child’s preschool teacher this year. We will be in the Lighthouse room and I cannot wait to meet and start our year of adventures together!

Just to give you a little history about myself, after I graduated from high school way back when, I went to a Professional Nanny school and worked in that field for about 5 years. I then returned to my first love of teaching and taught in a Montessori preschool where I received my Montessori Teaching Diploma. I taught there for about 5 years, and then took a short break to spend time with my son. I returned to teaching 2 years later here at Word of Life Academy and remained here through 2007. We moved to the East Coast where I continued teaching preschool, and furthered my education in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, but came back to Colorado and Word of Life Academy after just a few years. I love to continually learning about the best teaching practices in the classroom and see how the children grow.

I have one son, who went to preschool here, but now he is all grown up and he will be in his first year of high school this year. I have been married to my handsome and wonderful husband for the past 25 years. We have one cat and one ferret. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my family, sew, go to movies, read, play games and work on any craft.
