It is a fully supervised fun event, sponsored by the Parents, where the grads can party with their friends, be entertained and participate in a fun-filled, action-packed night of celebration.

Dry Grad is an event which provides our kids with a safe, drug and alcohol-free environment to celebrate their graduation. It is a fully supervised fun event, sponsored by the parents.
Dry Grad takes place on Saturday, June 13th from 10:30 pm to Sunday, June 14th at 4:00 am. It takes place at the North Delta Recreation Centre, 11415 84th Avenue, Delta, BC. After the graduation dinner and dance, the grads will board buses that will take them from the Grad Banquet to the Dry Grad Celebration.
Grads can expect lots of food, fun activities and prizes including:
Inflatable Park
Casino
Magician
Oxygen Bar
Candy Bar
Fresh Popcorn and Ice Cream
Tons of food!

Dry Grad is a casual event. Grads should bring their change of clothes to the banquet. Shirt, shorts, runners and a sweatshirt/hoodie is recommended.
Yes! Dry Grad will have security personel onsite and grads will receive a pat-down prior to be allowed entry into North Delta Rec Centre.
Upon arrival, all students must check in their bags. Only cell phones will be permitted in NDRC.
In order to keep everyone safe at Dry Grad there will be a few rules:
Only students with lanyards will be permitted to enter the event.
No items will be allowed to be passed to grads as they enter the event.

There will be NO in and out priveledges. If grads choose to leave Dry Grad for any reason, they will not be permitted back into the event.
Any grads that appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol or are participating in behaviour that goes against the Grad Code of Conduct, will be asked to be picked up and will have to leave the event.
At the conclusion of Dry Grad, grads must be picked up by a parent/guardian. If a child is being picked up by another adult, communication must be provided.
Parents and Families of the graduating class are the primary organizers; however, we welcome parents from any grade and others in the school community to volunteer for the events. There are many time slots available and many volunteering opportunities. There is definitely a job that suits every parent!
