Following the formal Grad Banquet, & Dinner, the Dry Grad celebration takes place at the North Delta Recreation Centre. This event is hosted by the Seaquam Dry Grad 2025 Parent Committee. Grads get changed at the banquet into casual clothing for this event. There are no in and out privileges at Dry Grad. We have security organized and parents will be called to collect any Grad who is under the influence of alcohol or anything else. Obviously. we trust this will not be necessary. At the end, Grads must be picked up by a parent. No one will be allowed to leave alone to ensure our grads get home safely.

The Red Carpet Walk event kicks off the formal graduation celebrations for the day. It is an opportunity for grads to be celebrated and photographed by friends and family. Each grad will be announced as they walk down the red carpet which will be located at the front of the school. This is a free event for grads and spectators so all are welcome to attend. Please be prepared for the weather. If it rains on the day, the event will be moved indoors. This event is sponsored by the school. More information and updates will be sent by email from the school closer to the date. 

The Grad Banquet follows the Red Carpet event. Students will be transported via luxury coach buses from Seaquam to the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre. This formal event includes a buffet dinner followed by dancing. This event is sponsored by the school so please look out for emails from the school with more information (including ticket costs) closer to the event. Following the banquet & dance, students will be transported by coach buses to the North Delta Recreation Centre which is the venue for the parent-sponsored Dry Grad celebration.

What if I want to arrive to Dry Grad on my own?

To ensure the safety and security of all our grads, entry to Dry Grad is only available to those who are transported via the luxury coaches directly from the Sheraton Wall Centre (venue for the banquet/dance) to the to the North Delta Recreation Centre (venue for Dry Grad).

Any grad who would like to leave early, must inform us in advance.  Pick up must be by a parent or an approved contact and the pick up time must also be confirmed.

Grads will be able to change into casual attire at the banquet/dance venue (Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre) prior to boarding the buses for departure to the Dry Grad venue (North Delta Recreation Centre).

The last day to buy your ticket for the Dry Grad Celebration is Friday, May 16,2025. We have to close ticket sales approx. 1 month prior to the event in order to finalize numbers and costs. Unfortunately, ticket requests after the May 17 deadline will not be accepted. Please buy your tickets early to ensure you don't miss out.
