Currently, I am holding the position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Econometrics and Data Science of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Besides, I am programme coordinator of the BSc Econometrics and Operations Research and the Minor Applied Econometrics - A Big Data Experience for All.
On December 6, 2017, I obtained my PhD degree at the Department of Quantitative Economics of Maastricht University. In my thesis, I focus on the mixed causal-noncausal autoregressive model (and its extensions) and demonstrate its ability to capture macroeconomic and financial data containing speculative bubbles or asymmetric cycles.
