Originally from Colorado, I moved to Michigan where I completed my B.S. in Psychology at Calvin University, met my wife, and eventually moved down to St. Louis to pursue my career in Occupational Therapy.
As a doctorate student at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine, I had the opportunity to learn under Dr. Carolyn Baum in the Community Engagement Laboratory about how OT's can support stroke survivor's recovery and reintegration into the community. I also developed a passion for working with neurologically involved client populations in the outpatient and acute care settings.
Being from Colorado, I love to ski and get outdoors whenever I can. I love spending time with my family and friends. I am committed to seeking opportunities to learn about new skills, cultures, and the lived experiences of others so that I can promote excellence in all areas of my life.
