Sean was a phenomenal TF. He is funny, quick, and was extremely skilled at facilitating interesting subject matter discussion. He made section fun and compelling even when the material we were working on was less than stellar. Could not have asked for a better TF. (Spring 2019)

Sean Paul Ashley is the G.O.A.T! I was thinking of dropping the course at some points because I wasn't enjoying the lectures that much but section really saved the course for me. He always made the content interesting and facilitated discussion well - he really knows his stuff. I would always look forward to going to section and any readings that I didn't understand were clarified well by him. Also, Sean is extremely accessible for office hours and responds quickly to emails. I had a love-hate relationship with Gov at the start but with hindsight, I learned a lot and if I were to go back I'd still pick this course. A Government concentration may be a possibility for me now... (Fall 2015)
Sean was one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and love of the subject made section enjoyable every single week. Sean clearly understood the material, but structured section in such a way that we were able to come to our own conclusions and make our own deductions about the material. One of the best sections I've ever been a part of. (Fall 2015)

Sean was absolutely awesome to have as section leader. He was really funny, great at generating enthusiastic conversation, and made section fun and interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed being in his section -- he should be a professor some day! (Fall 2020)
Sean Ashley was the best TF I've had at Harvard. He is extremely intelligent, funny, and charismatic, and runs a great section. He also deeply cares about his students. The class was worth it just to have him as a section leader. (Spring 2019)

Sean is incredibly smart and gifted. His ability to listen and provoke interesting discussions and generation of unconventional thoughts is incredible. He is also a great listener and can spot leaps of thought quickly, can help you brainstorm great ideas. He is also very open to help you outside of class and just very interested in helping you succeed in the course. (Fall 2020)
