I have 18 months of experience in 76 rebrands - Both NTI and Re-Images. I owned my projects in full and with autonomy... From quote request to completed estimates, code review & zoning, consultancy during kick-off calls, negotiating with City, pulling engineering for footings, permit acquisition & drawing sets, pulling electrical permits, pulling business licenses, ordering product for Forecourt, MID, C-Store, receiving product & storing in the warehouse, coordinating install with GC's and subs, renting articulating and 2-man lifts, planning logistics of low-boy trailers and other freight in tightly packed urban centers - to final close-out process & invoicing...
Quick story... The station owner was coordinating all of the sub-contractors for his New-to-Industry 76 station against the recommendation to have a GC organize all of the efforts. He had scheduled us to begin his imaging (Canopy Fascia ACM and 76 vacuum-formed logos) along with pouring new footing & erecting a 20' tall MID (Main Identification) pylon sign. We stopped by the previous Friday and saw the entire lot was still rebar and concrete forms! I let him know we really can't begin until the lot is paved... After listening to his frustrated tangent, I compromised and agreed to excavate and pour the MID footing as per engineering. As it turns out, water table was an issue here and we had to get a trash pump to keep the hole dry long enough to wait on the pre-pour inspector. He had the lot paved, we came in to finish the image - and all was well.
