Hello! My name is Sean, and I am a fourth-year PhD student in Operations Research at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, advised by Alexandre Jacquillat.
My research interests are in large-scale integer optimization and sequential decision-making under uncertainty, with applications in transportation, supply chains, and healthcare.

- (Mar–Apr 2026) Excited for some upcoming talks on rack placement in datacenters at IOE-ISyE-MS&E Rising Stars Workshop and OM Rookiepalooza.
- (Mar 2026) I chaired a session at IOS 2026 in the Computational track. There, I presented some recent work on electric vehicle routing, in particular how our subpath-based framework handles time windows and nonlinear charging.
- (Mar 2026) Updated preprint on electric vehicle routing! We significantly expand our problem scope to deal with new variants (load, customer time-windows, nonlinear charging) which are handled within our theoretical framework.
- (Jan 2026) Updated preprint on online rack placement in data centers at Microsoft! This features an online resource allocation / bin packing structure over a long time horizon. We use a sampling-based resolving heuristic and demonstrate real-world implementation and benefit.
