Dr Seamus Ryan provides private psychological assessments, therapeutic interventions, and counselling services for adults, adolescents and children.
Evidence-based psychological interventions are employed, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
All interventions are tailored in collaboration with you in order to fit your individual needs.
The following problems are difficulties that clients sometimes seek help with: stress, anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, grief, emotional instability, anger, relationship difficulties, chronic pain/illness, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), suicidal thoughts, self-harm, psychosis, eating disorders, sexual abuse, addiction, low self-esteem, bullying, school difficulties, parenting concerns.
Diagnostic assessments and reports are available for adults who wish to be assessed for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD).

DR RYAN'S BACKGROUND:
Dr Seamus Ryan is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience of working in public and private health services across the UK and Ireland, including each of the following areas: community mental health teams (HSE & NHS); psychiatric inpatient units (St John of Gods & HSE); specialist psychosis services; CAMHS; primary care psychology (Child & Adult); intellectual disability; chronic pain & palliative care (Blackrock Hospice); and bereavement services.
Dr Ryan has published his research in a number of international peer-reviewed scientific journals in the following areas of expertise: anxiety, depression, chronic pain, psychosis, and personality disorders.
