The educational activity will train teachers in modern educational models of sustainability and circular economy with European educational standards.
The school is developing a mobility plan for school education staff in a structured 5-day course program entitled "Sustainability and Energy Autonomy for the Modern 21st Century School" to be held in Tenerife, Spain. The subject areas of the courses, teaching methods and their potential outcomes ensure that the training needs of the participants are met to meet the challenges of tomorrow for their students and themselves.
The course will help the participants to understand how to:
Acquire a holistic and systemic perspective toward your educative reality;
Foster creativity and social environmental responsibility, regarding any of our daily decisions and actions as human beings in schools;
Acquire dynamics and resources for non-violent communication, shared leadership, and group cohesion;
Introduce ecological thinking in our mental framework and educational planning;
Facilitate the transition to education in values, and improve the quality of our inner well-being, that of our community, and that of the planet, for this and the next generations.
The results of the project concern the integration of forms of sustainability, circular economy and energy autonomy in our educational community, the creation of motivation and the formation of a positive school climate, the integration of creative methodology and its tools in every manifestation of the educational process and at every level of learning. school experience.
