COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed to enhance theoretical, practical knowledge and skill of engine personnel such as marine engineers, electrician, engine cadet and ratings.

Trainees in this course will undergo on hands-on training that enhance their knowledge and skill as an engine personnel in safe handling of electricity  and refrigeration and air - conditioning on board in accordance with the industry standards.  It covers competencies such as The Application of Occupational Health and Safety Procedure, Perform Electrical Measurement Calculation & Reading Schematic Diagram, Terminate and Connect Electrical Wiring, such as, Three (3) Phase Motor, Electrical Preventive Maintenance, Trouble shooting.
