Recruit chaperones and volunteers. Chaperones will travel with and care for all band/color guard students during football games, UIL performances, marching contests and trips. Chaperones must be available to ride student buses and be with the students at all times during the event. Times and duties will vary according to event. You do not need to commit to all events! Volunteers will be needed

Put the clothes on their back! Help with distribution, fitting, and maintenance. Take home band uniforms (8-10 per volunteer) several times during the marching season for washing. The band uniforms are machine washable and dryable.
Plumes –
Place plumes ("feathers") in student hats prior to half-time performances, and remove afterwards. You follow the band to warm up (mid 2nd quarter) and return after halftime. These volunteers are also responsible for picking up music/lyres from the sidelines after the band plays for the Tigerettes.
Meals before Events -
Feed the students! Meals are served before each football game and at contests. Assist in set up, serving and clean up. During football season, volunteers need to arrive at Sealy at 3:00 pm on game days and should be finished by 5:00-5:30pm. Serving time at contests will vary depending on performance times.
Pit Crew –
Load, unload, and move percussion, props, and other heavy band equipment before and after football games and contests.
Fundraiser –
This committee designs, purchases, sells and distributes band spirit items. Items include; polo shirts, yard signs, bling shirts, decals, etc.
Membership –
The primary goal of this committee is increasing band parent involvement. Section parents work with the membership chair.
