Our work entitled Remote Speech Cues for Dysarthria using Artificial Intelligence has been selected for funding by the NIH. This three-year project will develop person-specific speech cues for speakers with Parkinson disease during online video calls. The goal of this work is to support individuals living with Parkinson disease by maintaining independent, successful communication during online conversations. Congratulations to the SEAK Lab, our Co-Investigators Dr. Diksha Shukla and Dr. Nora Gulick, and the entire team working to implement this exciting work.
If you or someone you know is considering participation in this study, please use the "Join our Research List" button above to be contacted by our team. Enrollment into the study is anticipated to begin in Late 2026 and Early 2027.
