Briley sanded and worked on our high powered rocket fins.
Here is the scaled down model of our high powered rocket. It was launched on December 3, 2022 and was a success with an altitude of 1380 feet at 353 miles per hour at motor burn out with almost no damage!

BUILDING
ROCKETS
IS
FUN!
Building the e-bay:
soldering,
tightening,
drilling.
At Tripoli North in Seymour, Texas, the J540 motor let us down.
silliness might keep us warm
waiting.....
the wires for the e-bay don't want to go where we want them
team work--we got it WIRED!

Demonstration Launch #4
Team OREcO2 at Tripoli Houston South Launch Site somewhere near Alvin and Galveston.
At this stage we were hoping for another safe successful launch, but were placed on hold for an hour because the wind was pretty strong this day, April 22nd. We were not permitted to launch with winds over 20 miles per hour.
YEEEESSSS! It was another successful launch for our team! Our rocket looked incredible! Our rocket [aka Operation Rocket Experiment CO2 (OREO2)] reached an altitude of 4,747 feet! The drogue deployed at apogee, and the main deployed at 600 feet. Below data is visually represented from our e-bay. What a historic Rocket season for Clear Creek ISD!
Our rocket traveled 3,898 feet from the launch pad. It landed near the duck pond, so there was a bit of a hike to retrieve our rocket.
