The 2019 Southeast Science Boot Camp (SESBC) will provide opportunities for attendees to present during a Data Blitz. There will be two sessions for sharing experiences, best practices, or innovative new ideas! Each presenter will be allotted 10-15 minutes, depending on how many abstracts are submitted and accepted. There will be ample time left for Q&A and lively discussion.

Data Blitz sessions are guaranteed to spark creative ideas that we can all consider and adapt to our own libraries. Please consider sharing your expertise or story.

To apply, please submit an proposal of no more than 200 words using the form located below, submit now through April 1, 2019.

We are interested in proposals related to all aspects of STEM and health sciences librarianship, including, but not limited to, collection development, data management, faculty collaboration, information literacy, community outreach, scholarly communications, and science, medical, and nursing education.

Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 15 after peer review by SESBC planning committee. Co-authored presentations are acceptable, though there should be no more than two presenting authors. The presenting author/s must register for and plan on attending the boot camp.
