- Initiated and Co-Organized the Industrial and Applied Math Seminar of the Mathematics Department (Spring 2016 - Spring 2017).
- Co-Organized a multidisciplinary, university-wide Workshop on Scientific Computing with MATLAB at Texas A&M on the occasion of Dr. Cleve Moler's (creator of MATLAB) first visit to Texas A&M (Apr. 2016).
- Co-Organized three minisymposium sessions on Theory and Computation of Porous Media Flows at the SIAM Geosciences Meeting, Padova, Italy (June 2013).
- Served as Chair of Session CP11 on Geophysical Science Part I of II at the SIAM Annual Meeting 2017 (July 2017).
- Served as a Panelist for a discussion on PhD Qualifying Exams for the First Year Graduate Student Seminar (Fall 2014 & 2015).
- Served as a Panelist for a discussion on Applying for Grad School during the Summer REU Program (Summer 2015).
- President ('15-'16) and Founding Member of the Texas A&M University Chapter of SIAM. Helped to organize seven social and professional development events and three highly successful research seminars. Garnered the involvement of graduate students and postdocs from multiple disciplines, in fulfillment of the vision of SIAM.
- Authored an article for SIAM NEWS describing Dr. Cleve Moler's visit to Texas A&M University.
- Awarded the SIAM Student Chapter Certificate of Recognition for outstanding service.
- Mathematics Department Delegate to the Graduate and Professional Student Council of Texas A&M.
- Served as a Counselor for Grad Camp 2015 and helped welcome around 250 new graduate students to Aggieland as the sole representative of the College of Science (August 2015).
- Volunteered for the Big Event ('12,'13) and the Pi-Day of the Century event (March 2015).
