User Personas

Current Status:

• Eric lost his job during the war in Ukraine.

• One of Eric’s legs was injured during a missile attack.

• Eric is going to run out of food for his family and antibiotics for his injury, because Shops and pharmacies are all closed in Eric’s area.

• Has recently been told his father has died and has been buried in some unknown location

Goal:

• Eric is looking for a way to request food and medicine, so that Eric could receive them in a short period of time.

  • Eric wants to seek antibiotics so that he could continue intake antibiotics for 5 more days after he finishes all his antibiotics, until his leg recovers.

  • Eric needs to seek food for an amount of 1 week for 2 persons (he and his wife) before his leg fully recovers and he manages to find out other food sources.

• Figure out if his father is actually dead, and if so, his burial location

Frustrations:

• He contacted several NGOs, but none of the NGOs can reach Eric's area, or it takes too long for NGOs to arrive.

• Eric went around asking neighbors and friends regarding the status of his father but is unable to confirm any information regarding his father

Current status:

• Currently have extra resources such as food and water at home.

• Not in war zone

• Strong sense of patriotism

Goal:

• Want to help war victims by donating necessary items such as food and water

• Want to travel safety to reach the war victims

Frustrations:

• Emily currently using social media to identify potential people in need of help but could not identify which post for help is not yet fulfilled.

• She wants to go outside to deliver the items but it is dangerous since she don’t know where is dangerous.

Current status:

• Has a not-for-profit humanitarian initiative for the civilian victims of the Russia-Ukraine war

• Building a mobile-digital platform that facilitates humanitarian aid

• Passionate about empowering communities to look after each other

Goal:

• Wants to increase transparency in humanitarian aid

• Wants to keep information relevant

• Wants to uphold the quality of the app

Frustrations:

• Tony sees outdated information on the app, but is not able to do anything about it as the post can only be deleted by the user who posted it

• Tony observes a certain user who uses the app maliciously, creating a bad reputation and experience for the app. However, he is not able to stop the user.
