Welcome to the Smart Structural Inspection Laboratory at Chungnam National University. Our laboratory develops smart nondestructive testing and structural health monitoring technologies for safe and efficient maintenance of civil and architectural infrastructure. In particular, we integrate advanced sensing technologies, including thermography, 3D vision, and acoustic emission (AE), with AI and simulation to develop intelligent field-applicable methods for rapid damage detection and quantitative assessment.
