How to reach Koti Resorts?

Option 1:

1) The best possible travel plan would be to catch a flight to Delhi airport reaching on the 20th of February before 4pm.

2) Then catch a train to Kalka. There are several trains available (list will be given in a couple of days). However the last one starts from Delhi at 5:15 pm.(Kalka Shatabdhi or Howrah Delhi Kalka mail. The other trains reach Kalka too early). These trains reach Kalka on 20th late night.

3) Transportation will be arranged from Kalka to Koti Resorts. A drive of 3.5 hours.

Option 2:

( there would be too many trains to catch in this, this is good for the travel minded)

3) Early morning 3:30 am toy trains start from Kalka to Shimla.

Option 3:

1) Catch a flight to Chandigarh on the 20th of February. There is always a risk of flights being cancelled or the airport not functioning at Chandigarh, so there is flight cancellation risk associated with this.

2) Stay will be arranged at IISER Mohali Guest house

3) Travel to Koti resorts by bus will be arranged.

Getting back home

1) Transportation and cars will be arranged from Koti to Kalka on 24th Feb. The drive is 3 to 4 hours.

2) There are several trains from Kalka to Delhi. The best possible train to catch would be the Kalka NEW Delhi Shatabdi Express(12012) . The expected time of arrival is 21:55 hours.

3) Flights from Delhi, early morning 25th flights are the best.
