AccessAbility Week: Session Registration
Zoom Webinars
Registration is open to all employees of the SDICCCA Colleges, which include: MiraCosta College, Imperial Valley College, San Diego Community College District, Palomar College, Grossmont and Cuyamaca District, Southwestern College.
All sessions will be held using Zoom Webinars.
Participants must register for each session they plan to attend by using the registration links provided below.
After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with a calendar invite and a unique link that is used to attend the session. Reminder emails will also be sent prior to the event.
Accessibility of Sessions:
All Zoom sessions will be real-time captioned.
Update: We did not receive any requests for ASL interpreters, thus we will not be providing ASL interpreters for the sessions.
Note: We had requested for attendees to request ASL Interpreters by March 1st.

Session Description: In this workshop, Mesa Web Development Professor Kris Secor will take you on a tour of Canvas’ mobile application from both the instructor and the student perspective. Older devices and emulators will be used to demonstrate the student experience. Recommendations will be made to cater to those older devices as a progressive enhancement approach will be introduced.
