I am a senior researcher (Directeur de Recherche) at INRAE, and a member of the Centre for Environmental Economics - Montpellier (France).

My research primarily explores the synergies and antagonisms between human welfare and biodiversity conservation to better understand how our species can coexist more peacefully with other living beings. While at the World Bank, I've also worked on water economics.

I've notably been working in & on Eastern D.R Congo and Madagascar
