I am a senior researcher (Directeur de Recherche) at INRAE, and a member of the Centre for Environmental Economics - Montpellier (France), working on environmental and development economics.
My research primarily explores the synergies and antagonisms between human welfare and biodiversity conservation to better understand how our species can coexist (more peacefully) with other living beings. I've notably been working in & on Eastern D.R Congo and Madagascar over the last few years. While at the World Bank, I've also worked on water economics.
